Hethert is most often depicted either as a cow, a woman with the ears of a cow, or a woman. However she may also be depicted with the head of a lioness, or with a lioness. She almost always has a solar disk on top of her head. She often has a sistrum in her hand as she loves music. She is seen as wife and sometimes mother of Heru/Horus. She is often synchronized with Aset/Isis. The image below has her holding an Ankh the symbol of life. Many deities are often depicted holding an Ankh especially Aset.
Hethert is kind, loving, embracing and sweet. She really warms the heart and makes you feel loved and appreciated. However, when She has been wronged or protecting Ra or one of her children--watch out...She becomes Sekhmet as they are a part of each other. A two part Goddess. Sekhmet is also loving and a healer but she is known for her vengeance and protective qualities.
